Heartbeat (or here) by [personal profile] gnattery (Moriarty/Sherlock, NR, 4:33)
"Heartbeat" by Childish Gambino. A very serious Moriarty manifesto. About his feelings.

Everyone needs to stop what they doing and watch this vid. Moriarty has feeling and this song some how fits that description. I love the madness that is express through out this vid from both Moriarty and Sherlock side even though the vid mostly from Moriarty's POV. Go watch it!

FYI: I skip school today, not really my mom is sick and she couldn't take me to school today.

The Hungers Games:
Addendum by [livejournal.com profile] mintenergy
Gale/Katniss, R, ~13,216 words
Post-Mockingjay. I’m just not sure; not sure of anything but maybe death, pain, survival. I don’t wave back but I do watch him motionlessly until he’s just a speck of regret in the distance.

Wonderful what-if story, the portrayal of Katniss's mental heath got to me, the first person narrative works here.

Inception:
How to Know (or here, here) by [personal profile] citrinesunset
Arthur/Cobb, Mature/R, 22,000 words
Arthur builds a relationship with Cobb, which begins as casual sex between friends and gradually becomes more. But as it does so, Arthur's lack of confidence in Cobb weighs on him.

Arthur's jaw and tongue are starting to ache, but he doesn't stop. He strains his eyes upward, trying to look at Cobb's face without removing the cock from his mouth. Cobb's eyes are closed and his lips are parted. The usual lines are gone from his forehead and around his eyes, making him look five years younger. It might just be the light.

Arthur and Cobb having a relationship that is real, complicated and their parts in this fic that hurt my heart and Arthur is just as flaw as Cobb. The kids are real kids, horrible and great at the same time and love that this story was long, I miss reading this pairing.

Sherlock (BBC):
A Promising Start (or here) by [personal profile] morganstuart
Gen, PG, 442 words
She could learn a great deal from this man: what not to do, of course, but also what to do. This takes place approximately three years prior to events in "A Study in Pink."

Sally and Lestrade first meeting, it’s wonderful and the insight into their characters is great.

Triage (or here, here, here) by [personal profile] morganstuart
Gen, PG-13, ~1,800 words
Donovan didn't want to see this, and Sherlock didn't want to be seen – especially by her – this way. This takes place between events in the first and second series of Sherlock.

Sally is my favorite and I just love it when someone writes her.

Six months ago, a bomb went off in central London and Sherlock scented blood.

This is everything I wanted in Sherlock and Moriarty story, the unrequited emotions, both in character and being horrible people, love it.

Supernatural:
A Conviction of Angels by [livejournal.com profile] affablyevil
Dean, Sam, Castiel, PG-13
"Another Radio Song" by Okkervil River. "This isn't the first planetary enema we've delivered." When Zachariah traps Sam and Dean in an alternate universe where they are not themselves, they seek help from an old friend they haven't met yet.

This video definitely tells it own story, it made me feel like this was a different show, there is so much going, that I can't help watching this vid over and over again.

Equivalence by [archiveofourown.org profile] introductory
Anthea/Mycroft Holmes, Teen And Up Audiences, 1,970 words
Sometimes you're Anthea, sometimes you're Anthony, but you're always still you. Anthea is genderfluid, and very few people understand.

I have all kinds of love for this. Anyone that hasn't read this should get on it.

Missing In Acton by [livejournal.com profile] wastingyourgum
Sherlock/John, eventual Sherlock/John/Lestrade, NC-17, ~26,700 words
Lestrade unofficially checks out a lead for Sherlock and runs into a spot of bother... Contains torture.

God, what a day...

London was being flooded with almost flawless counterfeit 20 pound notes. It had been one for the Fraud boys rather than Lestrade's team but this morning they'd finally found the man suspected of being the engraver, dead in an alley, with his mouth stuffed full of his own masterpieces.

Of course giving Sherlock a murder scene like that had been like giving Sunny Delight to a hyperactive kid. Counterfeiting was "boring" - but a murder scene was a police-tape wrapped present.

I love this fic when I first read it on the kink meme ages ago, and I love everything about it. I adore this Lestrade, he works so well under pressure and I was on his side the whole time. Sally has wonderful little bit in this fic had hearts are in my eyes. Sherlock is wonderfully impatient and John is wonderful in all the right way. I will like to just hug this fic and keep it forever.

A Hiding Place for Weary Men by [archiveofourown.org profile] SidneySussex
Sherlock Holmes/Lestrade, Teen And Up Audiences, 7,562 words
Post-Reichenbach, Lestrade writes letters that he knows Sherlock will never read.

I was a police officer once. A detective, even. Detective Inspector Lestrade, that used to mean something. You'd have scoffed if I'd ever pointed that out to you, that the Met has ranks and that I actually worked my way up through them, that the work I do is actually worth something, or used to be.

Arthurian Mythology : The Art of Courtly Love | [archiveofourown.org profile] Ashura [Arthur/Guinevere/Lancelot, Arthur/Guinevere, Guinevere/Lancelot, Mature, 2,102 words]
When Capellanus wrote of love, he swore that no man could have two loves, that the new would chase away the old. If only, Arthur thought, it could ever be that simple.

Perfect display of romance, oh my heart, I how much I love these three together.

Captain America: Sorrow (or here) by [livejournal.com profile] greensilver [Steve, Ensemble, NR]
Music by The National. Don't leave my hyper heart alone.

This song is prefect for Steve, and damn this vid reinforces how much Steve lost for being frozen in ices for so long. Peggy and Bucky, I don't want Steve to forget about them and now I want to read all the 40's era Captain America fanfics.

Doctor Who: Matches to Paper Dolls (or here) by [livejournal.com profile] xandra_ptv [River Song, NR]

Great Gatsby: Lights Across the Sound | [archiveofourown.org profile] proteinscollide [Nick/Gatsby, Mature, 3,321 words]

Sherlock (BBC): Red Sky in Morning or (here) | [livejournal.com profile] impishtubist [Sherlock/Lestrade, NC-17, ~5,600 words]
It takes a madman with a bomb to make Lestrade realize just what Sherlock has become to him - and what John means to Sherlock. Porn with a bit of plot.

I love the introspection, and the sex like Sherlock and Lestrade need to reassures themselves with each other.

Vampire Diaries - LJ Smith: Craving or (here) | Elektra Pendragon [Stefan/Matt, implied Klaus/Tyler, one-sided Matt/Tyler, Mature, 28,306 words]
An alternate ending to Dark Reunion where Tyler attacks Matt after Bonnie leaves the boarding house. Matt blinked again, then turned his head. The bright light receded until it was just the sun in the corner of his vision. He had to squint to make out Elena's face. She was leaning against a tree, sipping from a delicate china cup, and he was sitting beside her. The bright springtime sky matched the color of her eyes perfectly. It was the kind of day that seemed to be made just for her.

I love this, full of the right amount of horror and its feature my favorite character, Matt.

Favorite film I watch this year Apocalypse Now Redux and The Godfather. I just recently seen both of these film and I enjoy the hell of them. (Both are long ass movies and watch them all the way through, so good these two and I'm obviously intrigue by them. Totally not the type of films I actually watch regularly.) Ironically, both have Robert Duvall (I'm kind of in love with him right now) in them. I’m now able to talk about them now but not in this journal, it will bore the public. My sister already gave me a strange look for watching these movies so I won't gush but if you haven’t seen these two go do it, they are great entertainment in my opinion.

Also today is cold as hell and hot chocolate is def. needed.

Finally read Watchmen (check out form the library), I actually enjoyed even though there is parts that I despise. The forward and backwards in time narrative of the Dr. Manhattan with hurts my head. I think I favor and enjoy the film more for the story and the stunning visual. I like the graphic novel for making me think more on some subject matter I'm interested.

Tomorrow Belongs To Me | [livejournal.com profile] valtyr [Steve/Tony, Jane/Thor, Explicit, 87,241 words]
Steve wakes up in the 21st Century. He doesn't think much of it, and it's dubious about him. He meets a Norse God, joins a superhero team, and feels terribly awkward about the whole monument at Arlington he's rendered obsolete by not being dead. Meanwhile, Tony is trying to make his mark on history by being the man who finally drove Nick Fury over the edge.

What a fun ride many great things to enjoy about this story but I love it because it about Steve, I just want to hug him and keep him forever.

Magnetic (or here) | [livejournal.com profile] boombangbing [Pepper/Tony, Pepper/Steve, Pepper/Steve/Tony, Clint/Natasha, PG-13, 28,537 words]
Tony and Pepper are in a committed relationship, everyone knows that. Tony still flirts relentlessly with Steve, though, and Steve doesn't know what to make of it. Then he starts having weird feelings about Pepper too, and he really, really doesn't know what to make of that.

Pepper POV is full of brilliance, my favorite fic featuring her.

Honey, I Can See The Stars (or here, or here) | [personal profile] twentysomething [Steve/Tony, NR, 11,701 words]
"The most he'd ever cared about anything remotely related was his uniform, which, beyond the stylistic, was pretty necessary. But now his suit comes from a lab far more advanced than the basement of a Brooklyn antique shop, and the only decision he really gets to make is if his pants are too tight. (They were, but he doesn't really think they changed them. He doesn't know why, but he thinks that might have been on purpose.) That being said, he doesn't know what he's done to deserve the double take Tony gives him as he walks in the room."

Sweet, Tony having a crush on Steve and wooing him, great fic to read if you want some fluff.

.: Dresden Files :.
Crosswind | [personal profile] medie [Dresden/Marcone, PG-13, 50,813 words]
Boy meets girl, girl falls in love with boy, girl is secretly a wizard, girl kills mentor and faces White Council, has boy's baby. Not exactly the stuff of fairytales, but with Harriet Blackstone Copperfield Dresden so few things ever are. Even with the fairy godmother and company in tow.

Harry born as a woman and the author wrote her brilliantly too. Go read it if you always wanted genderswap AU of the Dresden Files.

.: Final Fantasy VII :.
Against Regulations (or here) | [livejournal.com profile] chibirisuchan [Zack/Sephiroth, R (Explicit), 11,625 words]
There had been quite an argument about it later, behind closed doors -- nearly as impressive as the one over his uniform, in fact. The compromise reached was that Sephiroth would politely hold whatever they handed him until he was off the stage, and then he would give it to Zack for safekeeping afterwards -- because it was bad publicity for Shinra's most honored general to treat his ribbons as though they were frivolous and demeaning trash, or for someone else to fish them out of the wastebaskets in which he'd deposited their wreckage.

I love that this fic explore Sephiroth and Zack, their friendship and the complications. This fic is great and I wish more people will write more about their friendship and how does it work.

.: Sherlock (BBC) :.
A Ship In Harbor (or here) | [livejournal.com profile] impishtubist [Gen (Ensemble), PG, 5,200 words]

Close to Broken (or here) | [livejournal.com profile] shadowrose81 [Dean/Castiel, Castiel/Meg, NC-17, 34,000 words]
It is 1932. Castiel, the adopted son, serves as the Sant’Angelo crime family’s hitman, a ruthless soldier who kills indiscriminately without questions. It is only when Castiel is contracted to kill Dean Winchester, his childhood obsession, that his world is torn asunder. Suddenly, in the face of the man he once loved, Castiel begins to doubt himself and nothing can prepare him for how quickly everything seems to fall apart.

I love the whole cinematic quality to this fic, totally feels like you watching a gangster film in my opinion.

The Sharp Edge of Earth (or here, or here) | [personal profile] dotfic [Gen with Dean/Castiel UST, R, 29,000 words]
Having sold his soul to save Sam's life, Dean finds himself in Hell at the mercy of the demon Alastair, who is intent on breaking him. But all that Dean was and is, everyone who's had an impact on him, are still a part of Dean, and he won't break easily. As Dean takes refuge in his own mind to escape the torture, angels gather, ordered to undertake an unusual mission: rescue The Righteous Man from Hell. Castiel knows an invasion of Hell will be difficult, but he has no idea how much this mission will demand of him, how wrong the best-laid plans can go – and how much everything is about to change irrevocably. Meanwhile, Dean's defenses and his hope start to fail. He thinks no one is ever coming to save him.

The Past is Prologue (or here) | [livejournal.com profile] lit_chick08 [Miranda/Grayson, John/Isobel, John/Jenna, Grayson/Liz, Carol/Richard, Jenna/Logan, Jenna/Mason, Miranda/Richard, Isobel/Damon, Isobel/Alaric, NC-17, 70,548 words]
Everyone seems to forget they were young once too. Find out how Grayson found out about vampires, how Miranda ended up Mrs. Gilbert, how Richard became Mayor of Mystic Falls, what really happened between John and Isobel, how Liz became Sheriff, why Jenna only has "dirty shame," and how Isobel Flemming became a vampire.

Lit_chick08 I want to live in her brain, all the details she set up in her back-story to match canon were all wonderful and emotional. Several parts of the story made me tear up leaving an emotional ache. Everyone gets a moment to shine in this story but I love Jenna and Liz parts the most. Go read it and leave feedback for this author

A fronte praecipitium a tergo lupi (A precipice in front, wolves behind) (or here) | [livejournal.com profile] swirlsofblue [Stefan/Klaus, NC-17, 19,755 words]
This is an AU story show-casing Stefan and Klaus’s relationship through the last ninety-four years; exploring its dysfunction, and the obstacles and issues they face. It begins in 1917, with them alternately challenging and accepting each other; while on a wildly careening path of violence and destruction. As the tumultuousness of their personalities ebb and flow, their relationship does with it, and there are transformations and acceptance encompassing many shades of grey. Running parallel to this is Katherine’s present day story, wherein she is held captive and tortured by Klaus.

The Village: when i grow up (or here) by [livejournal.com profile] underhand_glory - Lucius/Ivy, NR. "When I Grow Up" by Fever Ray. The world moves for love. Spoilers for the film. Re-watching this vid, I fall love with this time because the song feel like it belong with the film, fitting the atmosphere. Although I did have issues with the editing and especially didn't like the abrupt ending. I enjoy the song a lot though so that makes it up to me.

Doctor Who: Invincible by [livejournal.com profile] humansrsuperior - Eleven/River, SFW. "Invincible" by Ok Go. River Song kicks butt (and Eleven/River is hot). Every new vid made about them made me love them more and I love the vidder editing style so much.

Gossip Girl: bad sex, literature, and russian hats by [livejournal.com profile] artemis_sparks - Dan/Blair, R. Post S4. I want you, she thinks, and it doesn't make any sense because everything so far has been about as not-perfect as it's possible to be and he's Dan and he isn't right for her, none of this is right. I love how Blair & Dan interactions are so awkward and hot. Artemis_sparks knows how to write these two and can always make me fall in love with them all over again. (6,748 words)

Sherlock BBC: A City Without Walls (or here) by [livejournal.com profile] sidneysussex - Lestrade/Sherlock, PG-13. Detective Inspector Lestrade is dying. Star Trek XI: Along Comes a Stranger (or here) by [livejournal.com profile] klmeri - Kirk/Spock/McCoy, Teen. AU. Jim's life in Riverside is uncomplicated until two men, both equally mysterious and compelling, arrive in town, bringing with them the promise of change. I can't begin to describe how much I like these fic and sad to see this fic ends. Everyone is so in character, the trio's interaction is great, and Uhura's back-story is like my favorite part. Go read it I don't want to spoil this story. (WIP: ~104,511 words) *Update: Now Completed @ ~111,944 words*

Supernatural: Goodbye by [livejournal.com profile] cugami - Dean/Castiel, PG. I love the embrace.

"Castiel is in Love" by [livejournal.com profile] usarechan - Dean/Castiel, PG. I'm a 'dude' in love I love how Dean's holding the back of Castiel's neck.

Saudades by [livejournal.com profile] cugami - Dean/Castiel, PG. Military AU. Dean is fine where he is, fighting a near endless war at the border. Then he meets one of the devils of the sky, which are ironically called Seraphs - suicidal paratroopers. A great snippet of an AU, I love the world building in this and I didn’t feel like it needed to me flesh out more. (2,535 words)

Stairway From Zion by [livejournal.com profile] daymarket - Dean/Cas, R. Orwellian AU. During the same raid that had Castiel crashing through the windshield of Dean’s getaway car, Dean loses both Sam and Anna to the hands of the angels. Human and angel should hate each other as circumstances dictate, but life has a funny way of changing the preordained path. I'm enjoying the dynamic between Dean & Castiel; the world-building is amazing, and just go read it I don't want to spoil this one. (63,000 words)

No Brakes Or Take-Backs (or here) by [livejournal.com profile] highermagic - Dean/Castiel, Gabriel/Sam, NC-17. AU. Castiel never wanted a demon. Now the thing's on his mind all the damn time. And his scent is everywhere. PORN, hot porn, enough said. (~12,000 words)

Don't Walk On By by Cas ([livejournal.com profile] virtualpersonal) & [livejournal.com profile] brimstonegold - Dean/Castiel, NC-17. AU. Written for dc_everafter. Dean works several jobs in order to pay for medical care for Sam who has been severely injured. The day he meets Castiel, Dean's luck changes, though it is debatable whether it is for the better or for the worse. Castiel is an angel who has been cut-off from heaven to live with Man for a hundred years. Trying to right a wrong, he accidentally hires Dean as his rent-a-boy and learns a thing or two about being human. A Pretty Woman!fusion that I didn't know I wanted and with one of my favorite version of Castiel. His characterization is so on point; this fic made me smile, sad, swoon, and laugh all over the place. Perfect read. (60,000 words)

Listen.. people be asking me all the time, "Yo Mos, what's gettin' ready to happen with Hip-Hop?"

I tell em, "You know what's gonna happen with Hip-Hop? Whatever's happening with us"

If we smoked out, Hip-Hop is gonna be smoked out. If we doing alright, Hip-Hop is gonna be doing alright.

People talk about Hip-Hop like it's some giant livin' in the hillside comin' down to visit the townspeople.

So the next time you ask yourself where Hip-Hop is going, ask yourself, "Where am I going? How am I doing?"
